Is it a fancy automagic helmet? I'm a big fan of the auto-darkening lenses

It is. Not the best kind, but it'll do the job.
I just wanted something simple to weld a few patches on the T/A, maybe do some other hobby type stuff with it someday.

I took a welding class recently and there were folks in the class that were having a lot of trouble getting their welds started. Every one of them saw immediate improvement with the addition of my auto-darkening helmet.
I shoulda been on commission. I sold a lot of auto-darkening helmets.
Here's a tip - Get a LOT of the inner and outer plastic lenses. The outer ones get munged up about 3x as often as the inners. A soft cloth can usually keep the inner in good shape longer, but I never seem to have one so I end up scratching it up too. The outer lens just gets beat up by weld spatter. Changing out the lenses when they're all gunked up is like xmas all over again, you can SEE!
